A Vibratory Feeder is an instrument that uses vibration to "feed" a process or machine. Vibratory feeders use both vibration and gravity to move the material. Gravity is employed to work in the direction, downward and at least on one side, and then vibration is employed to manipulate the material. They are mainly used to transport external numbers of small objects.

Principle of Operation

• The electromagnetic vibratory feeder consists of a tray made from low-carbon steel and a body housing the electromagnet
• The tray which is connected to the armature of the magnet vibrates because the magnet gets energized
• The vibration sets the fabric in motion
• Controlling of vibration gives the controlled flow of the fabric
