Operation of “INDPRO” Bin Aerator
The Bin Aerator is a flow aid designed to ensure product movement. The special design of the Bin Aerator causes a vibration as the induced air flows between the pads boot and the bin wall.
Vibrating Aerators the result of these two actions, aeration and vibration, provide a very effective flow aid that can be used with all types of dry products.
The Bin Aerator can be operated in a pulsing mode with regulated air pressure. This will conserve air consumption and increase the efficiency of the Bin Aerator. Sticky and clinging types of material will require higher air pressure and a more rapid pulse rate as opposed to a dryer relatively free flowing type of material. While dryer materials does not tend to bridge as easily, a lower pressure of air and fewer pulse times will keep this type of material free flowing.

Sizing Recommendations:-
Determining the amount of Bin Aerators and their installations is subject to the material flowability, hopper size, and hopper configuration. Placement of the Bin Aerator is essential to its effectiveness. Bin Aerators are to be placed in the cone or transition piece of the bin or hopper. Starting approximately 300 mm to 450 mm above the outlet of the bin or hopper, install 3 - 4 Bin Aerators equally spaced.
Go up approximately 450 mm to 600 mm and install another row of 4 - 6 Bin Aerators with staggered spacing of the original row. The proper working of each Bin Aerator for six or more units installed in series.
